Daniel J. Saenz, DC is a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic licensed in the State of California. Dr. Saenz graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. During his postdoctoral studies, Dr. Saenz has spent extensive time training in Orthopedics and has completed advanced studies in the examination and treatment procedures emphasizing primarily the neuromusculoskeletal structures of the body. He is currently completing the American Board Certification in Orthopedics at the University of Bridgeport. In addition, Dr. Saenz has been participating in postgraduate training in the field of Functional Neurology at the Carrick Institute.

Dr. Saenz specializes in sports injuries, functional movement assessment, and advanced soft tissue therapies, and has achieved certifications in Active Release Technique (ART), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Graston Technique, and Rocktape Fascial Movement Taping.

Dr. Saenz has blended his background in Sports Medicine with advanced postdoctoral training to provide a comprehensive and unique approach to his patients’ care. The opportunity to evaluate and treat world class athletes including Crossfit Games Athletes, IFBB Pro Bodybuilders, elite powerlifters, Team USA Weightlifters, MLB players, Olympic Gold Cyclists, professional soccer players, and collegiate athletes has allowed Dr. Saenz to develop a unique systematic approach to injury recovery. In 2016, Dr. Saenz was appointed Head of Athlete Services to The National Pro Grid League, where he treats the top competitors from weightlifting, gymnastics, and functional fitness.

Dr. Saenz maintains his role as Team Chiropractor to the Sacramento Republic FC’s U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He is the Medical Director to the Sacramento Surge of the Major Arena Soccer League, and is contracted by Sacramento State Athletics.
